Integrated Security Solutions

Open Protocol

TG Baker brings CCTV, access control, intercoms and fire exit hardware together on a single platform. One interface, one maintenance contract, one accountable team for the full security estate.

Overview

Unified security
without fragmentation

Most buildings accumulate security systems over time. Cameras from one manufacturer, door controllers from another, intercoms wired independently. The result is multiple head-ends, separate logins and no correlation between events. Integrated security removes that fragmentation.

We connect CCTV, access control, intercom and fire exit hardware into a unified management platform. An access event triggers the nearest camera to display. A forced door raises an alarm with associated video. Fire exit hardware releases on alarm without separate wiring back to the fire panel. The systems talk to each other because they were designed to.

We build on open protocol platforms, not proprietary ecosystems. This means existing equipment can often be retained and new devices from multiple manufacturers can sit on the same network. You are not locked to a single vendor for the life of the system.

Our process

Design, install,
commission, maintain

Design. We audit the existing estate, identify what can be retained and map out the target architecture. Integration points, network requirements and user workflows are documented in a formal design pack before work begins.

Install. Our in-house engineers handle all cabling, containment and equipment installation. We phase work around live operations, particularly on occupied sites where security cannot be taken offline.

Commission. Every integration point is tested under real conditions. Camera call-ups, door event triggers, intercom routing and fire exit releases are all verified and demonstrated to the client team. Full handovers include operator training and system documentation.

Maintain. A single maintenance contract covers the entire integrated platform. Faults are diagnosed across system boundaries, not passed between separate contractors. We provide remote monitoring, planned preventive maintenance and priority fault response.

Compliance

Standards and
accreditations

Integrated systems are designed to meet the relevant standard for each discipline. CCTV to BS 7958 and BS EN 62676. Access control to BS EN 60839. Fire exit hardware to BS EN 1125 and BS EN 179. Network infrastructure follows current IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).

All work is carried out under our SSAIB and NSI accreditations. For multi-site estates, we provide centralised compliance reporting and maintenance records for each location.

Where we work

Trusted across
every sector

We deliver integrated security for stadia, commercial property, NHS trusts, education campuses, retail estates and industrial facilities. Multi-site oversight is a particular strength. A facilities manager in one location can monitor doors, cameras and alarms across dozens of sites from a single dashboard.

FAQ

Common questions

What is an integrated security system?
An integrated security system connects CCTV, access control, intercoms and fire exit hardware into a single managed platform. Instead of separate logins and head-ends for each system, all security events are correlated and managed through one interface.
Can existing security equipment be integrated?
In most cases, yes. TG Baker builds on open protocol platforms rather than proprietary ecosystems, which means existing cameras, door controllers and intercoms from multiple manufacturers can often be retained and connected to the unified platform.
How does integrated security improve incident response?
When systems are connected, an access event can automatically trigger the nearest camera to display, a forced door raises an alarm with associated video, and fire exit hardware releases on alarm without separate wiring. This correlation speeds up response times and reduces manual monitoring effort.
